Well, after winning last week's Papertake Challenge ('excited' was not the word to describe my voodoo type of dance around the kitchen when I found out - my husband thought I was mad - nothing unusual here!!) - I was even more motivated than ever to make up my new card for this week's Challenge this afternoon. I have had a relaxing weekend playing around with some papers and embellishments I had downloaded from Krista Designs (as per my entry of last week with links below in my list of favourite blogs) and other predominantly scrapbooking websites I had spotted on the web. These papers are ideally designed for scrapbooking , but I just loved their antique effect , so when the Challenge for this week was to feature 'stitches', I thought they fitted the brief nicely. The hard part was finding enough colours in the watercolour palette to colour the Tilda stamped image and still keep within the colour tones of the embellishments and papers, I think I just about made it!!!! I would love your comments xx

I bet you were chuffed as a budgie with your win! I love this antique card! The colours are beautiful and I could go for the zigzag stictching BIG time. Did you do it with a sewing machine? I think you have created a delightful card. Well done!

I can't believe that stitiching is computer generated. It looks so realistic -but it does help my jealousy subside as to how you could be sew neat with a sewing machine ;-)
I wish I were a more accomplished computer user -I am sure that it would bring my crafting on no end. I am much more of a rough and ready, hope for thebest and make do with what's in my basket, but your site is definitely sounds worth looking at.
I will glad you tell you about the bow, but I'm not sure which one you mean. Is it the one on the front of the notebook -pink, black plus one???
Have a great day.
